really nice though... yet another in my collection of "inspirations for when i one day depict the story of my custom chapter and it's 1000 astartes"
The latest armour available to the Imperium is the mk VIII "Errant".
Hm... Well, I don't know. Definitely a fine piece of armour, but it just isn't the same. The chestplate reminds one a little of very early version, which is a good thing, but the shoulder guards? That little piece missing is what makes it ... yeah, incomplete (somewhat similar to my vocabulary I think)... And of course there's the helmet. As DeusImperator said, the grim looking face grill was much cooler.
I can't imagine a techpriest on Mars who agrees in reforging something valuable reliable and of course sacred like power armour. Perhaps not even the Emperor himself could speak such heresy without getting flogged at least once ^^
